Completely hand made, from the inlayed playing surface to the full sets of individually carved pieces. Exquisite comes to mind upon seeing one of these creations. The artist Boboh clearly took his time working each pawn to perfection without the help of any powertools. The inlayed board consists of wood alternating between warm red and wildly patterned umber with a braided vines carved into the margins. Pieces are intricately carved down to the smallest details: eyes, noses, expressions are all captured.
